riggins totes stole the spotlight from frenchie friday (the bastahd)!

but today is looloo's day to shine.

a lil backstory: looloo came to live with us the day after easter, 5 years ago this april.  the word lulu means 'bunny' in native american and ultimately we settled on miss looloo (derivative of my maiden name loomis).  i take this naming biz seriously.

without further ado, miss looloo, our very own easter bunny!

at this point, i'm not sure if we are luckier to all these beautiful babies or to have meredith nelson around to capture these moments. 

eternal gratitude, meredith.  we'll have to have looloo hop on over with something VERY special for you this year!

friday night light of my life

so i've mentioned the hub {aka CBC} before, and by now you should all know about george, my first baby and the "son" i never had. . . well, there is one other VERY special dude in my life.  

his name is riggins.

and i WORSHIP him.

i had a few too many cocktails at shelby's bachelorette this summer and the next day another shelby asked me if i remembered telling her i would cheat on CBC with riggins.  newsflash: it wasn't the cocktails talkin'!  i kid. . .

sort of.

 the fifth and final season of friday night lights begins on NBC tonight.  it will be a bittersweet evening.  

i cannot imagine my life without these characters.  yes, i'm being completely serious.

this is also a go-to gift of mine.  i have given the dvds to at least 5 friends.  it's forreal the best thing ever.

if anyone needs more convincing. . . 

the show is totes phenom, even minus the riggins factor.  

it was actually CBC who initially got me to watch (this rarely happens) but he hearts it, too.  the football scenes are amazebalz (and i never thought i'd care about football) 

okay, clearly i could go on and on and on and ON. . .and i will.  you'll certainly hear more about this.

for my fellow fans out there- enjoy tonight.

you will also be MIL with riggins.  but paws off. . .he's mine!

it's a ridiculously rainy day here in new england. . . this image makes me feel warm and sunny inside.

i'd like to whip up a canopied lounge area just like this for my george and loo when i retire to florida.  i know what you are thinking and YES they are going to live forever!  obvi.

i worship this room.  

this is definitely going in the 'big girl room' idea pile.  i would love to give c & p a room that they can share that also reflects and celebrates their individual personalities.  and i heart stripes. . . . specifically yellow ones. . . hmmm. . . wheels are turning. . .

owl take two. . . in every color!

so i was first introduced to skipping hippos ponchos when a certain shelby visited last fall.  i was smitten from the get-go, fast forward 6 months and we own six of these darn things! (2 are the 'ponchitos' for dollies)  the sick part is that i want more, more, more!

i was thrilled to wake up to PPW today.  yup, you guessed it - perfect poncho weather!  my own lil GTL, i wonder if it's been trademarked yet. . .

anyhoo, p wore her's proudly to stop & shop this morning and i must say she was the envy of all the other kiddos riding shotgun in their carriages.

for those of you thinking they want a poncho but looking for some justification - i'm thinkin' the easter bunny would like to deliver these. . . and they would take up a lot of space in the basket so think of all the money you'll save on chocolate bunnies!
