i truly believe one of the greatest luxuries in life is sitting poolside with a stack of glossys. {despite the ink that wound up all over my paws. womp}

a few things caught my eye during this past weekend's getaway but nothing grabbed my attention more than the images of camila alvez mconaughhey at the independent spirit awards.

she is perfection. {and it wasn't just the vices talking}

after a very uneventful red carpet season, i was giddy when i caught a glimpse of the vision in pink escada. {ps, pretty sure her third baby is still wet}

as previously mentioned, i'm getting prepared for when bradley needs a date for the globes on sunday. will have to act fast. zoe probably won't be able to squeeze me in so i'm just going to have to buy online. obvs.

i'm predicting a lot of emerald green, as it's already been proclaimed 2013's "it" color. and being a newbie on the red carpet, i don't want to step on any toes {literally and figuratively} so i'm going to avoid.

was going to do a more elaborate emmy post but my sweet miss c had her first trip to the ER in the wee hours with croupe.

so i think the sag fashions blew the globes out of the water. i have lots of faves! and i'm actually in a good mood for a monday so don't have anything negative to say except for busy phillips. . . because well, she's just asking for it.

one of my fave games to play with peeps is to ask 'what would you wear to an awards show?'

my stock answer is white because it was such huge big fun to wear white on my wedding day and when else can you wear it, really? but in reality {you know fake reality} i would go with. . . you guessed it, hot pink.
