little gold shoes

one of my fave things about Eastertime is the tale of the country bunny and the little gold shoes.  i've posted about it before {here} so you already know that i worship this book- the illustrations, the colors, most of all, the message.  if your lil bunnies don't have it yet, why don't you put a copy in their easter basket, along with a pair of little gold shoes?

i truly believe one of the greatest luxuries in life is sitting poolside with a stack of glossys. {despite the ink that wound up all over my paws. womp}

a few things caught my eye during this past weekend's getaway but nothing grabbed my attention more than the images of camila alvez mconaughhey at the independent spirit awards.

after a very uneventful red carpet season, i was giddy when i caught a glimpse of the vision in pink escada.  {ps, pretty sure her third baby is still wet}

after 3 weeks of tripping over my spring-loaded suitcase filled with bikinis and tanks, i'm officially home and unpacked!

i'm trying to acclimate to reality while clomping around in my chewed up hunter boots {george.  obvs}

making the best of it by planning out c & p's spring 'drobe.  while snuggling up with naughty george and the porkchop loo.  oh, how i've missed them!  well, as much as you can miss something while basking in the sun with a miami vice in hand {cue the dramatic reminiscent sign}

i am so sorry i've been MIA.  i didn't fall of space mountain.   we did have a big fun disney trip, many more deets to follow {horseface might have a slightly different opinion} 

then i got wrapped up in a photo shoot, which went down yesterday,  for my new {ad}venture.  cannot wait to share!

AND i took on a juice cleanse this week.  

aaaaaand today, i'm warding off this yuck weather so i can go meet the ash on a girl's weekend someplace where wintry mix is off the radar.  wish me luck!
