mid-summer check-in

summer is half-way over and i'm finding that i need some more stuff {obvs} to get me through until the back to school shopping is underway.

things i need more of:

towels!  cannot seem to keep up with my laundry, especially after a day at the pool, i want this beach towel, and i'm not going to share it.

. . . cover-ups for hot weather, like this tunic {why do so many have long sleeves?? no comprende}

 . . . sunglasses like these ray-bans {i lose things. often. womp.}

. . . and unfortunately i might have to bite the bullet and buy a one piece {the horror!} seriously tho, there is significant "evidence" that i carried around two naked people in my tummy at the same time.  every day i put on my bikini and stand around the pool with my cover-up on like a creepster.  and it's HOT.  so something's got to give.

we just barely survived a heat spell in the northeast- the kind of weather when you step out of the shower, you immediately need another one.  we all decided we need more dresses for the next heat wave/series of beach parties.

frenchie friday: march . . . to the beach

happy frenchie friday to us!  i may have mentioned the craycray town weather we are having in new england this week.  at this point, i'm almost hoping it cools sown a bit so i can actually accomplish something {not really}.  

no-thing makes me happier than bringing george & loo for a romp on the beach.  which is precisely what we did this am {in lieu of errands.  obvs}.

i had NO idea what to post about today because as i mentioned before - this amazebalz weather is distracting - in the most glorious way possible.

new take-away -  it doesn't matter if we emulate jackie's iconic style {impossible} but we should definitely hug and enjoy our kiddos as much as possible.
