target tuesday: living vicariously

before c & p were in the belly i had dreams of owning a mini cooper.  yup, i had visions of george & looloo riding shotgun in my sweet ride.

then i became preggers with my twinkies and the mini was no longer the practical choice.  obvs.
{we are currently busy using and abusing a volvo wagon}

loved seeing these mini minis in my tar-zhay flyer today.  and do you think it's a coincidence that they come in yellow and pink??  c & p must. have.

 P can even listen to tunes while zipping around the driveway in the pimped out pink version.

i'm also considering hanging this etsy original up in LHH to remind me of something i have to look forward to when the years of french fries being shoved in cup holders and car pools are long behind us.

until then i'll have to live vicariously.
is it weird for the easter bunny to deliver motorized vehicles?

party in the city where the heat is on

not much time to post - must get to packing for the bachey.
thought i'd share our anthem for this weekend.

except in "real life" it's more like - old, lame, and married with kids . . .womp womp {totes kidding CBC, C & P - really like you a lot and will miss you all a teeny bit}

stay tuned for some {not all, obvs} deets on monday.

and jennayyyy, can't wait to celebrate you, our beautiful BTB!

wedding wednesday: my little dahlias

currently obsessing over many a fleur - but today when i got my pedi i was drawn to new OPI color
be a dahlia, won't you?
 perhaps because it's a dead on match for j. crew's silk taffeta fabric, bright dahlia.  and perhaps one miss c & and p will be sporting this color come october. . .

must. sign. off.  i've already said too much. {wink, wink}

target tuesday: almost spring

target tuesday might not be a good idea after all. CBC has been known to check the blog from time to time and he's probably going to catch on to my tar-zhay addiction pretty quickly.  {but being the gumshoe that he is, chances are he's figured that out already}  besides i tell him on a regular basis how much money i am saving him by shopping a la target, h & m, forever 31, and the like.  and so far, he doesn't seem to appreciate my thriftiness one bit!

anyhoot, noticing that all my purchases this week in store are on sale online now.  hmph.

picked up this adorbs bikini for the "green cabana" {more on this later}

and this scarf.  pink? check.  stripes? check.    it's super soft in real life, too.  perf for the plane.  and apparently on sale for 12 dollah.

and these sweet ginger jeans for 22.99.  {also available in lots of other purty colors.}  these fit better than the j brand rojos.  and for a buck fitty less, this is a no brainer.

and obvs can't leave without snagging something for c & p.  they loved these 15 dollar dresses so much that we had to wear them in inclement weather with turtle necks, boots, and sweaters {also tar-zhay, obvs}.

these outfits make them happy.

case and point.

almost as happy as finding nemo at nordstrom's {local mamas who have not visited the fish tank at the north shore mall, this is great.  they also have balloons.  our classically under-stimulated kiddos pretty much think it's disney world}

but nothing makes the wee ones happier than a mr. quiggly sighting!

i. die.

miami monday: last hope

can't believe it's the last miami monday before the big bachey weekend.  haven't been too religious about my MM posts, because truth be told, i haven't found too many goodies for my trip - and it's not for lack of trying!  i've returned 3 dresses so far and my last hope is set to arrive on wednesday.

love-love or not so much?
or do you think i should stick with my original plan of RTRing an herve?

frenchie friday: brrrrrrr

did not like having to thaw out my car this am.  i know it's been a ridiculously mild winter but i'm still allowing myself to b*tch and moan today.  i'm granting your permission, too!

this lil dude doesn't seem to mind, however.  perhaps we should take a page out of his book.

happy weekend!

owl take two, please

so march is in like a lion, as they say.
in anticipation of the lamby weather to come i just bought two lilly dresses.  i'm not an over the top lilly gal but i couldn't resist these- they look vintage and the scalloped pockets are adorbs.   i love when i find special somethings that compliment each other but aren't exactly the same,
just like c & p.
lilly actually washes great and we wind up wearing them as much as our target threads in the summer.

did i mention they are on sale at neiman's?

stay warm out there.  spring is on the way!
