"C" is causing problems. . .

for some reason my Computer does not want to share a lot of C pics, {which is probably a blessing}, and since i promised them yesterday, i figure i may as well just post what i have. . .

there were carrot cake & chocolate cupcakes, cheese & crackers, chocolate chip cookies and candy corns among the cham cham {champers and chambord} and Caipirinha cocktails amidst lots of candlelight and carnations.

The "C" party postponement . . .

so we were supposed to host the "C" party 3 years ago but then . . .

this happened.

this lovely shot was taken on halloween, 2008. i could have been a bag of Cantaloupes or a Colossal {not so} hot mess. what i was - was expectant mama to C & P {and Consequently on week 7 of hospital bed rest.}

in retrospect, it wasn't the greatest idea to give birth to my only 2 children, three days after halloween {yes, this is 3 days BEFORE i gave birth} and apparently make-up and brushing my hair were already out of the question? a tradition i've somewhat managed to maintain . . .

anyhoot, it makes for quite a busy time of year these days - back to back parties for the C fam.

but i totes would not change a thing. as they say, all's well that ends well.

get ready for some uber-sappy posts as my munchkins' birthday approaches . . . 2 weeks out and i'm listening to 'seasons of love' on repeat and crying daily. obvs.

so i'm juggling a few too many balls in the air right now. unfortch, the blog will be neglected because of it. but i promise it's going to make for some amazebalz posts when all is said and done - so PLEASE - stay tuned.

even if my posts are brief, i'll still try to write everyday and obvi i'll post the 'C' party tomorrow followed by the "S" next wednesday. and some happy thoughts sprinkled in between.
